Description

The Female Voice in Politics Conference brings notable and accomplished female politicians and leaders together to present and discuss the issues facing women in the political arena today. This event provides not only an opportunity for learning but also a chance for interested alumni and students to meet one another.

3:00pm - 5:00pm -- Speakers (with an intermission)

5:00pm - 7:00pm -- Dinner and Networking catered by Johns Cafe and Catering


Seating is limited.

Alumni should feel free to bring a guest but must register a ticket for each atendee.

Sidney Powell, attorney and author of "Licensed to Lie"

Professor Sarah Williarty who will be giving a special academic perspective.

Darcie and Kevin are both Political Science majors at Wesleyan University. One day, they were discussing problem of the underrepresentation of women in politics and the implications of this issue. After this discussion, Darcie and Kevin decided to host a conference about the underrepresentation of women in US politics and, from there, the Female Voice was created.
